the christmas ornament.

Being a new family we don’t have a mess of Christmas ornaments. Branton has been wanting to make what he calls ‘people’ ornaments. I guess because they are not the Christmas balls. So, I googled ornament dough and found good old fashioned ‘salt’ dough. It’s pretty easy to make and bake, but not sure how they will hold up. See the fun below.

{ recipe: 4 c. flour, 1 c. salt, 1 1/2 c. warm water – mix, knead for 10 min or so – roll out, cut shapes and don’t forget the hole for the string – bake at 300 degrees for 30 or more min – let cool and decorate }

    I wish I could make ornaments with you guys! I probably would’ve eaten them, though… and gotten sick.
